2010 was the Warmest Summer on Record in Savannah

So you knew it was hot this summer! But did you know that when looking at records which date back 136 years... we had the warmest average temperature on record!

We call meteorological summer the months of june... July and August. Based upon temperatures from these 3 months... the summer of 2010 was the warmest summer ever recorded in the Savannah Georgia area.

At savannah... the average temperature for the 3 month summer period was 83.9 degrees... which was the warmest summer on record.
