Drink up at McDonalds
Soon you'll be able to belly up to the bar at McDonald's. The fast food chain plans to install coffee bars in all 14,000 of its stores in the U.S. McDonald's will offer cappucinos and lattes, and have baristas to serve the hot drinks. The company will sell smoothies and bottled beverages as well. That puts McDonald's in direct competition with the coffee giant Starbucks, which recently started offering breakfast items in some of its stores.
