Bahama Joe’s Expands in the Face of Recession

Bringing a much needed stimulus to Savannah, Bahama Joe’s has opened their new School Uniform Store in the Medical Arts Shopping Center. Taking the vacant Friedman’s Art Store location, Bahama Joe’s renovated it using local contractors, electricians, plumbers and builders. Nine employees were hired locally to staff the new store, bringing the total number of Bahama Joe’s employees to 36. Bahama Joe’s has been providing printed and embroidered apparel locally for over 30 years, and have now brought their business philosophy of outstanding customer service to this new retail endeavor.
