Calling All Young Ladies from 13 -19 years of age! Join us for a day of fun and excitement! We will gather together and explore new ways of thinking, speaking and behaving! Our conference presenters will bring fresh perspectives and solutions to ongoing problems. The purpose of the event is to Educate, Empower, and Embrace our future young women; while confronting and ultimately decreasing teen pregnancy, the number of students dropping out of high school, and low self esteem. Our Certified Financial Educator will teach them the importance of saving and appropriately spending money in their “Money 101” class. We will listen and assist them with issues facing them today. Our Symposium Panel Discussion: Redefining Beauty in the 21st Century and the Media Influence. The fee for attending the conference is $20.00 which includes your conference t-shirt/bag and material. This great event begins at 8:30 am.
We will also host our 1st College Fair which is free and open to all high school students and adults desiring to return to school: 10:30-2:30pm.
