Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin alerts consumers today to the recall of an organic stone ground whole wheat flour that contains a milk ingredient not listed on the product label.

Arrowhead Mills, Inc., Hereford, Texas, is recalling Arrowhead Mills® Organic Stone Ground Whole Wheat Flour (2 lbs.) with the UPC code #74333-47242 and lot code of 06OCT09. The product was distributed nationwide to natural food stores.

The product’s lot code is located on the right side of the upper front panel of the individual bag. No other lot codes or any other Arrowhead Mills products are being recalled.

The flour may contain an unlisted milk ingredient in its content. Those who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk protein run the potential risk of a health problem or illness if they consume this product.

Consumers who have purchased the product may return it to place of purchase for a full refund. Those with questions or concerns may call Arrowhead Mills 800-749-0730.
