SAVANNAH, GA – Celebrate Savannah’s unique heritage and garden history at the 9th Annual Savannah Garden Exposition held to benefit Historic Savannah Foundation and the Isaiah Davenport House museum. This year’s theme “Our Square Roots” honors Savannah’s distinctive city plan and garden designs. Exhibition gardens, expert demonstrations and lectures featuring Vince Dooley, Tovah Martin and Buddy Lee, children’s activities, and an open-air market with growers and garden-related merchandise are just a few of the featured events.
An exciting addition is a partnership with the Garden Club of Savannah for the annual NOGS (North of Gaston) tour including walking tours with visits to some of Savannah’s most beautiful private gardens. This event will also feature a Southern Tea at the Harper Fowlkes House.
Daily general admission is $10. A 3-day pass is $20. Group discounts are available. Children 12 and under are FREE. All proceeds benefit the Isaiah Davenport House Museum and the Historic Savannah
Foundation. For tickets and a complete list of events, visit www.savannahgardenexpo.com or call 912.236.4795.
