As the nation’s leading voluntary health organization, the American Cancer Society strives to eliminate cancer. We do this in part by providing people with information about healthy living, early cancer detection, and cancer prevention. By joining forces with us, businesses can extend our mission to their employees, giving them a chance at healthier, longer lives.
The first step toward fighting cancer and improving employee health is for employers to meet with American Cancer Society representatives to discuss the benefits of a comprehensive cancer control plan for their worksite.
The American Cancer Society is holding an informational breakfast for interested businesses on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. to talk about a life-saving collaboration. You will have the opportunity to hear from one of our current worksite partners. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to (912) 355-5196 by Thursday, January 21, 2010.
At the breakfast, we will review opportunities to improve worksite health status, help your employees, and your overall worksite atmosphere and benefit from Society recommendations for worksite health programs. Together, we can outline some strong opportunities for us to work for the benefit of your staff. This collaboration is free to the employer.
The American Cancer Society is dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by saving lives, diminishing suffering and preventing cancer through research, education, advocacy and service.
