Beer tastings now allowed in SC
Wine and liquor tastings at spirit shops in South Carolina is nothing new but beer is a different story. Governor Mark Sanford recently signed a legislation that will allow beer shops like Growlers on Hilton Head Island to host beer tastings- 24 of them a quarter. Bob Prust, who also runs a liquor store, knows from experience that a taste often leads to a purchase.
