Alonzos Boschilte is co-owner and a dance instructor at Savannah Ballroom.
The art of dancing is his passion, something he hopes to share with many more people- thanks to getting his business listed on Groupon.
“It gives you a whole group of new clients that you will have exposure with in your town that you night not have otherwise. And there is really no out of pocket fee. They do have a retainer fee for every coupon that they sell, so really its free advertising. We are so excited about it.”
Through the Goupon website, people can choose their city and sign up for deals much like the one for Alonzo’s company.
“Our beginners special is usually $90. This gives people an opportunity to try it for $30. We are really expecting a lot of people to come in and try it who might not have otherwise.”
Alsonzo and his team is partly responsible for getting Groupon to come to Savannah.
“We’ve been speaking with Groupon for the last few months trying to get the company in our city. It takes a certain amount of companies to participate to get Groupon to come. They are all about really cool companies and really good sales.”
Worth all the time and effort put in. they are busy.
“The phone has been ringing off the hook.”
Since its launch in 2008, Groupon customers have saved over 607-million dollars.
