Traveling Pants Review

»  Comments | Post a Comment

"The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants 2" is obvious from its title the sequel to the 2005 movie taken from the popular novels.

Four friends continue their post-high school friendship united by a pair of blue jeans which mysteriously fits all four and which they are constantly sending to one another.

Alexis Bledel finds new romance at school while also visiting her relatives in Greece.

Blake Lively, the soccer star and a co-star of Gossip Girl on TV, is on a summer long archeological dig.

Amber Tamblyn works in a video store, and Ugly Betty's America Ferarra is apprenticing at a summer stock theater company.

Sure, it sounds ho-hum, but it is what it is.

The story lines are engaging, it is never very deep of course but it intended audience, probably young women, will feel involved.

NBC’s Jeffery Lyons said, “The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants 2 is chirpy, picturesque, and appears to complete the storyline of each of the four friends.  Of course if it goes through the roof at the box office, they will think of another sequel.  That's how Hollywood works.”
