During a trip to Iceland, he and his nephew get an unexpected chance to test his theory.
This one is being shown in 3-D in some areas.

Eddie Murphy gives the special effects experts another workout with the comedy "Meet Dave".
He plays a miniature alien space captain who comes to earth in a spaceship that's made in his own likeness, but full-sized.
Trouble is, this faux human named Dave has trouble fitting in with life in New York City.
"Meet Dave" is Rated PG.
