His fourth adventure "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" hits theaters on Thursday.
"The kingdom of the Crystal Skull" is set in 1957, but it's still has that look of a Saturday matinee from the 40s about it, which made the originals so wonderful back in the day.
The Nazis have been crushed and the era is the height of the Cold War.
Harrison Ford hasn't lost a step as Professor Jones, the archeologist, erstwhile intelligence agent and adventurer cajoled back into a new adventure when Soviet soldiers, disguised as Americans, have broken into a secret army storage base in the Nevada atomic testing ground.
They're after an ancient crystal skull from a mythical lost city of gold.
Cate Blanchett is superb as the sinister leader of the Russians.
"Transformers" star Shia Lebeouf is perfectly cast as the wisecracking son of Indy's old girlfriend, Karen Allen, back from the original "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
Steven Spielberg, as you might expect, he takes us on another wonderful ride with lots of daring-do and danger at every turn.
"Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" gives every fan of Indy and his exploits all the thrills, chills and he'll-never-get-out-of-this one situations...just what they crave.
