"Sex and the City" set trends and raised eyebrows when it debuted on HBO ten years ago.
The four leading ladies recently reunited to make the leap to the big screen, and are talking about the transformation.
After four years away from the small screen, getting back into character was no problem.
"It was like coming back to a whole universe that you thought had disappeared. You know it's like the secret garden, you know, and it's kind of the ivy's grown over it but you get out your key and you open it and you look inside and there are all those people," said Cynthia Nixon.
Also returning for the movie is Chris Noth, who plays Mr. Big.
"Sex and the City" hits theaters on Friday.
