A handful of new movies come out this week.
Leonardo Dicaprio and Russell Crowe team up for the thriller "Body of
Lies".
Dicaprio plays a top U.S. Intelligence agent on a trail around the world to capture a terrorist leader.
Dicaprio has to infiltrate the terrorist's world, with the help of a CIA veteran played by Crowe, he's the guy orchestrating Dicaprio's moves from a stateside computer.
But as Dicaprio closes in, trust becomes an ever more precious commodity.
"Body of Lies" is rated R.
The true story of the first African American winner of the Heisman Trophy is brought to the screen in "The Express".
Rob Brown stars as Syracuse running back Ernie Davis.
The talented but quiet young man smashed racial barriers in his sport during a time of civil unrest in the early 1960's.
Dennis Quaid co-stars as the championship-obsessed coach who helped guide Davis' rise.
"The Express" is rated PG-13.
Videotape from a TV news crew provides the only clue to a horrific medical mystery in "Quarantine".
That crew was holed up in an apartment building that was been
quarantined by the CDC.
The operative word being 'was'.
The fate of the occupants is told in this R rated thriller.
An effervescent young woman finds her optimistic outlook on life challenged in the comedy "Happy Go Lucky".
Sally Hawkins stars as Poppy, a teacher who runs up against an increasing number of 'downer' people and situations that threaten to change her sunny disposition unless her spirit changes things first.
“Happy go Lucky” is rated R.
Bill Murray plays the mayor of a civilization forced underground in 'City of Ember'.
The generator powering the city is beginning to fail and two young people, one played by atonement's Saoirse Ronan, may hold the key to saving the day.
They just have to get past some unsavory characters to do it.
“City of Ember” is rated PG.
