Eagle Eye Review

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Shia LaBeouf stars in the new thriller 'Eagle Eye', out in theaters this weekend.

Shia LaBeouf in “Eagle Eye” plays the surviving twin whose brother, he learns had been a government agent, probably the reason strange things begin to happen.

Eventually, after a series of unexplainable predicaments, he catches the eye of the FBI, with Billy Bob Thornton as the special agent on the case.

Meanwhile, the mysterious voice which begins sending orders to LaBeouf's character also keys in on a single mother, played by Michelle Monahan and together these strangers find themselves in a predicament they can't duck.

Much of the movie is performed at a frantic pace as they become wanted by the feds and think their only hope is to obey the mysterious voice and flee.

Movie critic Jeffrey Lyons said, "Eagle Eye" is a conventional thriller, but it's an entertaining one. It asks you to accept a lot which defies logic and credulity, but Shia LeBeouf is a fine young man and Michelle Monahan teams with him very well. Sometimes all a movie is trying to do is entertain.
