Potter mania is here again.

The latest Potter movie opened this morning in most theaters, and is expected to be another blockbuster.

Lines were long for showings from Los Angeles to New York, where "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" officially opened at midnight.

In this 6th Potter film, based on the popular book series, the leading character reveals a new side.

"Harry is turning into a bit of a tough guy in this movie," says actor Daniel Radcliffe, who once again portrays Potter.

Even though described as an excursion into the dark side of the series, the movie promises to please loyal fans with what's familiar in the franchise.

"There's amazing magic to it, but yet it flows as if you could practically feel like you are a teenager at the Hogwarts school," says film critic Lisa Schwarzbaum.

The Hogwarts gang will navigate trials and tribulations of high school, with an added touch of magic.

The longtime bond between characters helps drive the film.

"It's going to be sad when it's all over, definitely going to miss it, so just try and make the most of it yeah," advises Rupert Grint, who plays "Weasley."

The closing episodes will be in two parts.

Part one of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," will come out in 2010. Part two in 2011.
