It was a bitter, personal battle, but Sunday night, Donald Trump rendered the decision between the final two contestants on "The Celebrity Apprentice".
The final face off pitted comedienne, actress and all around force of nature, Joan Rivers against the ultimate poker playing power house, Annie Duke.
The final task had Joan and Annie planning a VIP party experience for people attending Cirque Du Soleil's hit show, "Wintuk".
And after some back and forth and a whole lot of bickering, in the end, Trump declared Rivers the winner.
"I’m very proud of her. Her energy, her brain power, every aspect. And Annie was great. Whether Joan likes her or not, Annie was great," said Trump.
"I've always wanted to win. It's something I believe in. And I totally believed in what I was doing” said Rivers.
And as you might imagine, not everyone liked the final verdict.
"I don't have any regrets. I'm happy about the way I played. I played a very honest game. I didn't lie to anyone. I made really good friends. I walked away from the show with a really great experience, so I’m really happy," said Duke.
By winning the competition, Rivers also won $250,000 for her chosen charity, "God's Love We Deliver".
The organization delivers meals to seriously ill people who are housebound.
