The television industry honored its best from the past year Sunday night.
The Emmy awards were handed out in Los Angeles.
The NBC sitcom “30 Rock” won its third straight Emmy as Best Comedy.
Alec Baldwin also won Best Actor for the second year in a row.
There was a surprise for Best Actress, as Toni Collette of the cable comedy "The United States of Tara", beat out among others, last year's winner, Tina Fey.
Kristin Cheno received best supporting actress for the now-cancelled "Pushing Daisies".
Two and a Half Men's Jon Cryer won Best Supporting Actor.
"Damages" star Glenn Close won Best Actress.
For the second year in a row, Bryan Cranston won Best Actor for "Breaking Bad".
And Michael Emerson of "Lost" took Best Supporting Actor.
For the seventh straight year, "The Daily Show" won Best Variety, Music or Comedy Series.
The night's other winners included "The Amazing Race" as Best Reality Competition Series.
The HBO Film "Grey Gardens" won for Best TV Movie, with acting honors going to one of its stars, Jessica Lange and her co-star Ken Howard.
