Cheering For A Cure

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Watching high school football games under those bright lights is exciting.  Hilton Head High's Seahawk Cheerleaders had a message of hope for fans to get pumped about.  During last Friday night's game, breast cancer was a focus.   The squad, along with some tiny tots, raised money while letting the pink remind us that they're proud to help work toward a cure.

"To show and create awareness for our charity we're cheering with pink pom poms.  We're wearing pink ribbons in our hair just to make sure that everyone knows what's going on and everyone's getting involved," says Kelly Lloyd.

Seahawks Cheerleaders say money from the fundraiser will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
