Breast cancer has touched all of us in some way. It has given hope and the will to fight for a longer life. The pink breast symbol greeted Survivors, Caregivers, and some Pharmaceutical Representatives as they arrived for a Her-Ray party tonight.
The bond survivors and caregivers share is unbreakable. They're celebrating life, compassion, and surviving some tough times. "The drug Herceptin I believe has slowed down my cancer. I had a recurrence, but it wasn't really fast growing. I guess the drug does wonders for me," says Roxanne Mosley. "It used to be here today gone tomorrow, but now it could be here today gone today so I mean things just really happen so fast, and we just have to be grateful for each and every day," says Marlo Sheppard.
The Her-Ray party is one of the last Paint The Town Pink events leading up to the end of breast cancer awareness month.
