Pinkoween

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Halloween is October 31st, but some people are celebrating early with a splash of pink!

The Lewis Cancer Pavilion was the sight for Pinkoween tonight.  This is a fun, festive way to celebrate breast cancer survivorship.  Decked out in costumes, children joined in the spirit of pinkoween.   There's more to this event than just treats.

Breast education materials were available as a reminder of saving lives.

"Maybe one day there won't be breast cancer cause we'll find a cure for it," says little Madelyn Aliffi.  Pinkoween is a culmination of Paint The Town Pink for breast cancer awareness month.
