We need help with a foster home for Penny who is up for adoption through Coastal Pet rescue. Please forward to people you know. I know there has to be one person in Savannah who can help us.
Penny is an american strafford terrier. She is wonderful smart dog. She needs to be in a home where there are rules and she can be given some boundaries. She was living with 2 older dogs and their dynamics weren't working out. Imagine 2 elders and a toddler.
Penny has a lot of energy and would do great with a fenced in backyard and people in the home who will spend time with her and take her for a drive in the car. WE are working with clicker training and trying to get her manners in line with what Emily Post would want. ; )
Penny hasn't been socialized very much so we are taking the process slow.
She loves some dogs and not others. She loves cats. My dream is to get her in a home where she is the only dog, so she can relax and not be so on edge all the time.
We are going to pay for lessons at petsmart to start her off. But would love to have someone with some experience who can work with the little girl. She loves being around people.
