(Savannah) A Government Task Force says most women only need to get mammograms beginning at age 50 and that breast self exams do no good. Some women we talked to today are shaking their heads and saying why would they delay a procedure that could save their life. “I personally know young women less than 30 who have had mastectomies. So I don’t think it’s a good idea”, says Minnie Robinson. “I wanna stay ahead instead of finding later that I have cancer," says Angela Page. Some are wondering if it will make it harder for women under 50 to request mammograms and question if their health insurance will pay for them. Find out more of what women are saying on News 3 Tonight at 6.
