Savannah's Starland Farmers Market will begin its 2008 season on Saturday, April 26. The market will be open from 9 a.m. till noon, rain or shine every Saturday until November in downtown Savannah's Starland District. That's located between Whitaker and Bull streets between 41st and 40th on DeSoto Ave, behind Back In The Day Bakery.
The market is a place for people to sell and purchase the freshest local produce and products in a lively and entertaining setting, and they are continuously seeking local organic and traditional produce farmers, artists, food vendors, craftspeople, musicians, street performers, storytellers and volunteers.
