Suspect Identified after Shots Fired at Oglethorpe Mall

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a convicted felon suspected in a round of gunfire earlier this morning. It happened around 11 a.m. at a bus stop near the parking garage at Oglethorpe Mall. The victims were not hurt. Police say the shooting stemmed from an ongoing feud between them and the suspect. On at least one prior occasion, Stevens and the victims had fought, according to a new release sent by Sgt. Mike Wilson, SCMPD. Police say Stevens rode his bicycle to the mall and confronted the victims. They say he even had the foresight to warn bystanders before opening fire.
