A Washington state boy is recovering after having a butter knife removed from his head.
11-year-old Tyler Hammert and a friend were sitting on a bench in Vancouver, Washington, last week when another boy threw the knife at them.
The knife became lodged in Tyler's head between his scalp and his skull.
Doctors were able to remove the knife Sunday.
Police haven't decided if they will file charges against the other boy.
