The beep of the price scanner is a sound John Lesko counts on...
And he hopes this year's heritage crowd won't keep things quiet around here.
"I think everybody in the retail industry kind of looks at the fact that the economy could impact things one way or another. If we look back - we've kind of forecasted that maybe multiple sales would be kind of missing during this particular year as opposed to those in the past," says Lesko.
This tent caters to every class - Lesko says- About $3 dollars for golf balls.
And it only goes up from there...
$150.. different strokes for different folks.
Luckily for Lesko- this traffic includes a lot of shoppers like Kim Harrison: “These are luxuries that we're going to splurge on- absolutely.”
But this is only one part of a whole island hoping more eager spenders will start cashing in.
"All in all we're expecting another great week at the Verizon Heritage," says Bill Miles of the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce.
