It was tuna to the rescue for a kitten stuck behind a wall in a South Florida home.
The kitten had spent most of the weekend trapped in the wall. Three Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue workers tried tearing through wood and crawling toward the feline before breaking out a can of tuna. They grabbed the cat when it came out of the wall for a snack.
Authorities say the kitten wandered into the Lauderdale Lakes home on Saturday, then crawled behind a bathroom wall through an air duct. The homeowners, who didn't have a cat, called fire rescue when they couldn't figure out why they heard meows through the wall.
The homeowners say they'll be keeping the kitten.
