The following news release was issued by the Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Dept. on Wednesday, April 22:
Savannah-Chatham Metro Police detectives are asking the public to help locate a person of interest in connection with the deaths of two men found on Linden Street.
Jason Castro Gonzalez, 23, of Savannah, is 5-feet-5, 130 pounds; and frequents the Leeds Gate subdivision in southside Savannah. His right arm is bandaged with a tattoo of a dragon; the left forearm has Chinese lettering.
Isaias Pastor, 28, and his cousin, Alfredo Enrique Pastor, 23, were found dead on Linden Drive late Monday. A motorists saw the bodies and called police shortly after midnight. Neither of the three men lived on Linden Drive.
When police arrived, they canvassed the neighborhood for witnesses. They later located witnesses who identified Gonzalez as a person of interest. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gonzalez is urged to call Metro's violent crimes unit at 651-6728, or CrimeStoppers at 234-2020.
