Hundreds of construction jobs are coming to West Savannah in the next several months and the city is looking for a few good men and women to fill those spots.
To that end the city is hosting a mixer on Wednesday evening from 5:30 until 7:30.
It is a chance for folks in all trades to meet the developers, project managers and general contractors on the Sustainable Fellwood Project.
The plan will transform the former Housing Authority site along Bay Street into apartments, condominiums and single-family homes over the next several years and will provide millions of dollars in salaries to workers in the area.
Wednesday’s meeting is a good way for smaller companies to get a foot in the door on the project.
