Thinking about buying antiques? Now might be the time. The Wall Street Journal reports that there are several new bargains on old furniture and the price of some antiques are plummeting
Since older furniture and antique shopping is a big part of Savannah's culture, we went out to Antiques Emporium to find out if the same is true right here in our back yard.
Brenda Youmans, Antiques Emporium Owner:
"The lower-end antiques, average every day people, they are getting more limited where you can find the items, and the prices are coming down on those also."
Brenda tells NEWS 3 that even though the lower priced items are dropping, the antiques that cost more than $1,000 tend to not drop in price.
