Blight Boot Camps

»  Comments | Post a Comment

City residents had the chance to join Savannah's war on blight with neighborhood Blight Boot Camps this past weekend.

Every month, the City stages Blight Boot Camps in four different Savannah neighborhoods. They're a chance for citizens to meet their neighborhood Property Maintenance inspectors, learn about Property Maintenance ordinances, and find out what they can do to rid their neighborhoods of blight. The August 2 Boot Camps were held in the following locations:

1. Nicholsville/Coffee Bluff/Rose Dhu: Coffee Bluff Marina, 14915 Coffee Bluff Road.

2. Thomas Square: Community Services Bldg., 2203 Abercorn Street.

3. Dixon Park Neighborhood: Dixon Park, East Broad Street at Henry Street.

4. Magnolia Park/Blueberry Hill/Bacon Park Pool:  Corner of Bacon Park & Morgan Street.
