Police Find Body of Missing Savannah Woman in Car

Savnnah-Chatham Metro Police have found the body of the mother of three who went missing last week.  The body of Aciea Battise was found in the trunk of the Honda Accord she was last seen driving before disappearing some time after 9pm on Thursday.

Metro Police will be holding a news conference at 9:30pm to discuss details of the case.

News 3 will be at that conference and bring you the latest as it becomes available.







Savannah-Chatham Metro Police tells us that a car has been found that matches the description of the vehicle police believe Aciea Battise was driving when she disappeared.



Police found a Silver Honda Accord in the 300 block of E. Charlton Street just before 4:00 p.m. and immediately cordoned off the area and brought in Forensics. The car has now been towed to the Annex where police will further examine the vehicle.



Police are currently searching a home in the 1200 block of Anderson Street where Battise was last seen before her disappearance.



Crime and Safety Reporter Kaitlyn Pratt is on the scene and will have more details tonight on News 3 at 11.
