Eastside Neighbors Remember Murder Victim

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Neighbors on Savannah's Eastside gathered Wednesday night to remember the life of a man who was shot to death over the weekend and to call for an end to violent crime.  A candlelight vigil was held on Hamilton Court , where 36-year old Keith Davis and another man were shot in the backyard of a home Saturday night.  Davis died later at the hospital.  Representative Lester Jackson called it a senseless killing that has impacted a family, a neighborhood, and a community.  Police say three men came into the backyard, talked briefly with the victims, and then opened fire.  There was marijuana and cash found at the scene.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020.
