UPDATE: Police Take Armed Robbery Suspect Into Custody

Metro Police were looking for 21-year-old Andre Kareem Morrell of Savannah in connection with an Armed Robbery that occurred Thursday December 11, 2008 at the corner of Iris and Eddison Avenue.

UPDATE MONDAY, DECEMBER 15: Andre Morrell was taken into custody early this morning.

Metro Police were looking for 21-year-old Andre Kareem Morrell of Savannah in connection with an Armed Robbery that occurred Thursday December 11, 2008 at the corner of Iris and Eddison Avenue.

Morrell was wanted in connection with an armed robbery where a victim was robbed at gunpoint and the suspects escaped with the victim’s vehicle and personal items. The victim was not injured during the incident and the victim’s vehicle has since been recovered by police.
