The death of Pvt. Colman J. Meadows III of Senoia, GA was announced today by the Department of Defense.
Pvt. Meadows was 19 years old.
Pvt. Meadows died at Forward Operating Base Ramrod, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained from a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
