A Lowcountry couple is expecting a very special new year's surprise in 2008 -- quintuplets.
36-year-old Nancy Cantu and 24-year-old Juan Salvador Solis live on Lady's Island and are awaiting the bundles of joy sometime in the next few weeks.
The proud mother-to-be is a twin herself, which is a very common trait in those who have multiple births.

And in case you were wondering, we decided to dig a little deeper to find out just how common multiple births are here in the United States. According to the CDC, in 2005 alone, there were: 133,122 sets of twins, 6,208 sets of triplets, 418 sets of quadruplets, and 68 sets of quintuplets or higher born in America.
