Shooting Incident in Charleston Ruled Murder-Suicide

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Authorities say a North Charleston man shot and killed his wife and the family dog before turning the gun on himself.

Charleston County Chief Deputy Coroner Judy Koelpin says 63-year-old Leslie Davis Junior shot his 59-year-old wife Theresa in the head Wednesday afternoon, then shot himself.

Authorities and neighbors say the family dog also was shot to death.

Neighbor Debbi Farrell says Theresa Davis found out she had cancer a year ago, but her health had improved until a few weeks ago when she started saying she was not feeling well.
