3rd ID Soldier Dies in Baghdad

A soldier with the Third Infantry Division has died supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. 


The Department of Defense says 20-year old Spc. James Gudridge of Carthage, New York died January 6, after his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device in Baghdad.


Gudridge was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division out of Fort Stewart.
