On the Republican side-- John McCain is the projected winner with 37%.
Mitt Romney was second at 31%. Mike Huckabee showed third at 12%.
"I am past the age when I can claim the noun a kid, no matter what adjective precedes it. But tonight we sure showed them what a comeback looks like," McCain told supporters in a prepared speech tonight. "When the pundits declared us finished, I told them I was going on to New Hampshire."
It's a toss-up among Democrats-- first place is close between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama with 39% and 37% respectively. At 10:30 p.m. the Associated Press and NBC News officially declared Clinton the winner. John Edwards was a strong third with 17% of the vote.
Weather in the 60's seemed to encourage voter turn-out for the presidential primaries in New Hampshire.
