A presidential hopeful will be making a stop in the Lowcountry tonight.
Democratic party officials tell us John Edwards will be hosting a town hall meeting on St. Helena Island. It's scheduled to begin at 6:15pm in Darrah Hall at the Penn Center.
The event is free and open to the public.
John Edwards made a stop in Ridgeland back in October. Several other candidates vying for the White House have also made trips to the Lowcountry over the past few months including: Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, and John McCain.
