Authorities had their hands full earlier this morning, battling a massive fire that destroyed a home.
Around 2:30, fire crews were called to a scene on the 100-block of St. Ives Drive off of King George Boulevard.
When they arrived on the scene, smoke and flames could be seen coming out of a structure.
It took officials about an hour to put the blaze out. We're told several occupants were at home at the time, but were able to escape the burning home safely.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
