The Third Infantry Division is mourning the loss of one of their own.
The Department of Defense announcing today that Specialist Richard Burress died in Iraq when his vehicle hit an improvised explosive device.
Burress was assigned to the 1st battalion; 30TH Infantry Regiment; 2nd Brigade Combat Team.
