Dr. Lockamy, superintendent at the Savannah/Chatham School District confirms that Savannah High School’s principal, Walter Seabrooks, is being reassigned to Corporate Academy’s evening program.
Roy Davenport, who was supervising principal of alternate school programs like Scott Academy, and formerly at Beach HS, will now take over as interim principal at Savannah High.
Dr. Lockamy says both men are serving in their new posts on an interim basis, pending board approval tomorrow. Lockamy says he made the decision last week, but said it was a move he had been considering for sometime.
