Authorities Arrest Homicide Suspect

Savannah-Chatham Police say a homicide suspect on the run since last year, is now in custody.



19-year-old Henry Johnson was arrested just before midnight on Wednesday at a Savannah bus station.



Officials say they identified him as the suspect in the shooting death of 43-year-old Dennis Coleman, Jr. back on September 12th.



Authorities tell us Police Chief Michael Berkow received a tip personally from an anonymous caller, stating that Johnson was headed this way, on a bus from Atlanta



A team of detectives were called in to stake out the station, and they arrested him soon after the bus arrived.



Johnson will be arraigned later today in Recorder's Court.
