Operation Clean Sweep will be in the Metropolitan Neighborhood from Monday, July 14, through Thursday, July 17. Residents are asked to bring their questions, concerns and comments to the command center at 418 West 38 Street – in the parking lot of St. Luke's Baptist Church.
Operation Clean Sweep crews will be cutting overgrown lots, towing derelict vehicles, picking up bulk items, providing free blood pressure checks, home fire safety and smoke detector checks, and securing unsafe properties. Operation Clean Sweep is a city-wide effort to clean up Savannah’s neighborhoods.
