A t-shirt design contest is open to the public for the first Critz Tybee Run – Half Marathon and 5 Mile. One winning design will be chosen from the submissions and will become the official art for the 2009 Critz Tybee Run t-shirt. The author of the winning design will also receive $500 in prize money.
Anyone is welcome to submit a design, although submissions must meet the following criteria to be eligible for consideration:
- Art must be created in four-color (CMYK)
- Include the Critz Tybee Logo
- State the date of the run (Saturday, February 7, 2009)
- Art must be 11 inches wide by 14 inches in height
- Incorporate the fun and unique atmosphere of Tybee Island
A panel of judges will choose the final t-shirt design based on the above criteria, in addition to overall creativity.
Organizers of the Critz Tybee Run, which will be held Saturday, February 7, 2009 beginning at 8:00 AM, seek designs that will capture the spirit of Tybee Island and express an enjoyment of being active within a community. The deadline for art submissions is Friday, December 19th by 5:00 PM. The winning design will be announced on Tuesday, January 6, 2009.
