BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) - Crews are back on the Altamaha River searching for a man whose empty boat was found circling in the water.
Captain Jay Wiggins of the Glynn County Emergency Management Agency said the disappearance on Friday was being treated as a boating accident.
Wiggins declined to identify the man, but family and church members said it was the Reverend Jimmy Byars, pastor of the Southside Baptist Church in Brunswick.
Byars' boat was found near a boat ramp after he had departed for a solo fishing trip.
