Some seniors at Metter High School are re-taking the Georgia High School Graduation Tests this week.
The school's principal says 40 students failed one or more portions of the test last year.
The school’s graduation rate for the 2007-2008 school year was 64.1%. Of course the goal is for everyone to graduate. The school's principal says they at least want to meet the 70 percent mark under No Child Left Behind and they're working hard to do that.
"Very hard at work. We're doing review sessions before school, after school, during school, during um we have what's called Tiger time which is an extended time Monday thru Thursday," explains principal, John Jordan.
