Effingham County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who stole several items from Old Town Plaza in the early hours of last Saturday morning.

Video surveillance shows a female drive up in a four door sedan and takes items which belonged to several of the businesses.

The suspect stole bistro tables, outdoor chairs, and potted plants. At one point in the video, the suspect removes a bench and attempts to steal that as well.

Sheriff McDuffie said “Businesses with video surveillance can be a valuable partner with law enforcement to deter and or prevent crime “.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office at 912-754-3449.
